Arthritis in the spine occurs when the cartilage that cushions the vertebrae breaks down over time. This can lead to pain, stiffness, and reduced movement. Treatment options often include medication, physical therapy, or surgery to improve comfort and mobility.

A bulging disc happens when one of the discs between your vertebrae pushes out of its normal space. This can cause discomfort, especially if it presses on nerves. While conservative treatments can relieve symptoms, surgery might be necessary if the pain is severe or persistent.

As we age, the discs in our spine can naturally wear down, causing them to lose height and flexibility. This can lead to pain and difficulty with movement. Treatment can range from physical therapy up to complete disc replacement.

This condition occurs when surgery on the spine does not fully relieve pain or leads to new issues. It can be incredibly frustrating, but options like additional treatments or procedures may help find long-term relief and better outcomes.

Foraminal stenosis is when the openings where nerves exit the spine become narrowed, often due to bone spurs or disc degeneration. This can result in pain, numbness, or weakness in the arms or legs. Treatment can range from physical therapy to surgery, depending on the severity.

A herniated disc occurs when the inner gel-like part of a disc slips out of place and presses on nearby nerves. This can cause pain, tingling, or weakness in areas of the body that the affected nerve controls. Many people find relief through conservative treatments, but surgery is sometimes needed for lasting improvement.

Sciatica is a condition where the sciatic nerve becomes irritated, often due to a herniated disc or spinal stenosis. It causes sharp pain that can radiate down the lower back, buttocks, and legs. Treatment usually starts with physical therapy and pain management, with surgery considered if conservative methods do not help.

Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that can develop in childhood or adulthood. In some cases, it can cause pain and affect posture. Depending on the severity, treatment can range from physical therapy to surgery, aimed at preventing further progression of the curve.

Spine injuries can range from fractures to soft tissue damage and can occur due to accidents or trauma. Treatment for spine injuries depends on the nature of the injury, but it often involves a combination of rest, physical therapy, and sometimes surgery to prevent long-term issues.

Whether it’s a unique cervical disc prosthesis or a specialized treatment plan, we offer cutting-edge solutions tailored to the rigorous demands of military and aviation professionals. Artificial Disc Replacement
Artificial disc replacement is a surgical procedure in which a damaged spinal disc is removed and replaced with a synthetic implant designed to preserve motion between the vertebrae. It offers an alternative to spinal fusion, helping relieve pain while maintaining natural flexibility in the spine.
Reconstructive Spine Surgery
Reconstructive spine surgery involves procedures designed to fix problems in the spine, such as deformities or injuries. These surgeries are aimed at improving function, reducing pain, and restoring alignment to the spine. A thorough evaluation is necessary to determine the best surgical approach.
Spinal Fusion
Spinal fusion is a procedure that permanently joins two or more vertebrae in the spine to eliminate motion and reduce pain. These surgeries are often done to treat conditions like herniated discs or degenerative disc disease.
Discectomy
Discectomy involves removing part or all of a damaged disc. These surgeries are often done to treat conditions like herniated discs or degenerative disc disease.

Dr. Hall is an excellent surgeon! He is very confident in his abilities to fix areas of the spine that need his help. Patients want a surgeon/doctor that is confident in his own abilities and work! He is very thorough during surgery to make sure all problems are resolved. He is very kind and listens attentively to his patients. I trust him completely to take care of me during surgery. I recommend him to all persons who may need spine help!

Dr John Hall performed Spinal Surgery on me back in 2010 to fix my scoliosis. Almost 14 years later, I’m seeking the possibility of Lumbar Surgery . There’s no one else I would trust to touch my back. Not only is he a great surgeon, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He’s very humble and kind.
